I am new to the whole "blogging" world, but I am determined to keep up on this and I hope it will be helpful!
This school year is off to a great start! I am continuing to teach weekly lessons in all of the classrooms. This year, I am primarily using a program called "Safe and Caring Schools". This is a great program that teaches ideas and concepts centered around keeping school a safe place for everyone. I am teaching that "safe" means more than just physical safety...but also entails emotional safety. It is important for students to know that they will be treated with kindness and respect at school, and recognize that they should also treat others the same.
My goal is to provide you with updates regarding topics that I am teaching in the classrooms. This way, you can reiterate concepts and lessons at home. Please ask your children what they have been talking about in their lessons with me!

- This is my second year at Eagle Cliffs! I am super excited to work with the students again this year! I am very passionate about kids feeling safe at school. My husband Eirik and I have two boys...Taylor who is four and Dylan who is one...so we are busy! We have a six month old puppy, Lucy, who will stay seven pounds forever!
